I love this game - great for familiesJul 17, 2010 This game is so fun for groups of 2-4. It takes strategy, but each game is fairly short and you can stop whenever you'd like. When playing with only 2 people I adapt the board by making the square shorter with pieces from a different color. You will understand if you play the game. I can't get enough of it and my dad, who doesn't like to play games, even enjoys it because it is so quick and easy.

Blockus=Somewhat FunJul 08, 2010 First of all, i love toilets and blokus. AT my house i have a collection of toilet seats. I have a total of 76 toilet seats; each one is unique in their own way. SOme of them have been sat on by celebrities and kings and queens. Others have poop stains that look like states and countries and continents. I have one that coincendatlly looks like SOuth Africa. Sometimes i even try to mold a state. Blokus is fun and entertaining, like a TOILET!!!!! Yay!!!! I have even molded some blokus pieces on my toilet seats. Blokus is fun to play when you're using the toilet. It is also entertaining to play Blokus with the toilet. This is awesome~!~~!!!!!!!

Great for ALL ages!Jul 02, 2010 My husband got this for me for my birthday last year, I love puzzles and puzzle games. It turned out to be one the only games every member in my family can (and loves to) play! My 6 year old is like me with puzzles and wins the game pretty much every time. My 4 year old loves the challenge of playing by himself and trying to get all the pieces on the board according to the rules (no same-color straight edges can tough each other). And my 2 year old sits with me and plays putting the pieces on any way she can - works her dexterity and fine motor skills as well as her ability to see how to turn pieces so they fit.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS GAME! (just make sure you supervise the little ones, the pieces are pretty small)
3-D TetrisJun 28, 2010 This is the third time in two years I've purchased this game. Why so many? The original game was purchased for school. We had extra money to use for educational games, and Blokus jumped out at me, with its brightly colored box. At first, the students weren't that interested (it's not electronic), so the teachers decided to tackle the game. It became an obsession. In short time, students began to edge their way to a corner and take over the game. Again, as much fun as this is to play, it's also a great way to get work from students before they sort out their pieces. Bribe, you wonder? Maybe.
What a fantastic way to think critically, offensively and defensively. Blokus promotes planning and strategy in a fun and playful way. It creates alliances "I won't corner you if you go in another direction." Players (kids especially) learn to handle confrontations when moves are in short order.
Blokus is not a game to gather dust in the back corner of a shelf. It challenges players of all ages and levels. Most surprisingly, the students who I thought would play easily (because of their scholastic abilities) were the ones who had to think hardest. It's a great tool for geometry, spatial relationships, and artistic creations!
Great game!May 22, 2010 This is a great game! It's one of my favorites! Sometimes, I even beat my mom! But it's still hard enough to be fun.
